I had a roommate in tech school from Ohio. Went to visit his farm and noticed some of those wooded squares and asked him about them. Never got a good answer mainly "that's too hilly" Ha when he came to visit our area his statement was " back home if we these crooked roads we'd hook a tractor to em and pull em straight" I did enjoy the farms and people when we visited.
