Why the need to pasteurize it? On our farm we fed clean raw milk or colostrum and never had a calf with scours.
I suppose that on dairies with filthy milking procedures and resulting high bacteria count in their milk, it probably would be of benefit.


It’s amazing you can tell a cow has johnes years before it shows signs. Got nothing to do about cleanliness. But a cow guy would know that.
