Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | For this Fall's harvest I used my InCommand 1200 with V 10.2 at the start. I had some confusion with my steering arrangement and updated to V 10.8 in an effort to remedy the steering situation. Turns out this was not the problem and my steering problem was related to cable confusion. A new cable and an update to the steering system cured the problem. My yield portion continued to work properly.
Today I noticed on the Ag Leader Knowledge base that V 12.0 has been released. The release notes indicate some changes that don't seem to apply to me. Generally I would perform the update anyway which I plan on doing eventually.
I was a bit surprised to note that the version number has gone from V 10.8 to V 12.0. Apparently for some reason, V 11.x has been skipped. Not that it matters but it seems surprising. Possibly this has something to do with a "jump" to keep the InCommand 1200 firmware somewhat in line with the InCommand GO firmware versions and the need to use a newer version of SMS. |
