I'm linking an article from "Drone Life" newsletter site. The US Army has announced plans to add and utilize ONE MILLION drones within the next 2-3 years!!!!! That's a whole lot of drones!

There will be an assortment of drones used. Some will be the little quad-copters that many of us have become familiar with in the past 10+ years.

Whenever I read about the utilization of drones in any industry, including ag and military, I think back on the aerial applicator poster that used to be on AgTalk proclaiming that drones were nothing but toys and had no business being in the sky with his plane. I assume he's had a complete mental meltdown by now.
