My parents had Samaritan Ministries when my brother got a punctured lung and was in the hospital for a few days and it worked well.
There are several options out there. Many don't cover preexisting conditions or have a wait period. Most have a wait time before covering pregnancy. Edit to add, some don't cover certain procedures related to pregnancy complications.
