North East Kansas | Im not sure you can really factory reset these things anymore. I did do what the monitor called a factory reset, but after it booted all back up for the last time it still said it was on 2024.0.2 software. I was looking for a way to factory reset everything back to the original software.
I have a neighbor that had 2, case 2150 planters, and he had mostly issues with the planter itself, but he had some software stuff early on also. He already had green tractors, and he finally got fed up with the case planter issues so he instead bought a Deere planter to go on his Deere tractor. It sounds like he is way happier, and not having any problems. He actually did have some issues early with the Deere planter, but he traded up the next year, and the planter has been perfect ever since. It doesn't sound like he will ever go back to red, and he was sold on the old case planter at one time.
We had a 2150 for a year, and were glad to get rid of it for an older 1255 case planter instead. We were pretty happy until 2022, but I will say that getting any information on the precision side has been a nightmare. I assume precision was good at one time to get so popular. We would most likely look for an ExactEmerge when this planter wears out in 20 years. | |
