Sure it’s not fun to sell cattle lower then they were a few weeks ago but at the end of the day everyone should of known there was going to be a high and something was gonna make it pull back. Just happened to be what came out of the presidents mouth instead of something else. Side note.. be really curious if everyone would have been upset had a different president said it.
The way I look at it… cattle prices are still above break even… I’m happy!!! Some profit is better then breaking even… how many years have we been doing that. For those that are whining your no different then the folks whining over $7 corn… why not be happy with profit at $5-$5.50.
In my opinion $2500 feeders are more sustainable over a longer period then $3000 feeders… I like having a profit not an all time high | |
