I have done some preliminary work relating to corn and geological zones similar to what is shown at this link https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Surficial-geologic-map-of-Illino...
and soybeans relating to maturity by recommended maturity group based roughly on latitude.
Agreed on the variability portion… I don’t think it makes much sense to look at small amounts of this type of data without other context, one of them being soil type or similar (PI).
I am trying to think about a way to make some of the information accessible, anonymized, and useful. Right now, I am leaning toward a hybrid search that will offer some additional context, like PI, state, geological zones, region of a state, or some combination.
The agronomist, Bill, and I are working on getting something with a bit more agronomic context for the December report.
