| I haven't really seen anything about spray drones specifically other than some aerosol concerns. It's mostly aimed at the camera drones that are everywhere. But it's the flight controller and remote communication system. Someine probably could gut a drone and make it their own but at that point might as well just make a whole new drone, I'd imagine the software side if things would be the hardest part.
There's really no safety concern with the drones, but the US Gov has itself convinced there is. DJI has allegedly provided all the evidence that's asked of them but the goalposts keep moving. Doesn't help that they also tried to sue the government and failed and some US drone makers have been lobbying against Chinese drones, one of which just filed for bankruptcy cause they couldnt even make a competent drone. | |
