south central IL | To avoid big ag usually involves using generic chemicals that were originally developed by big ag but are now off patent and most of these are manufactured overseas in countries that don’t have the environmental controls and the economic conditions that we do here. I’m using some of those products and the economics are better for sure but I still am conflicted as to if it’s the right thing to do. Should I be using cheaper products from other countries and demanding that the consumer buy my products produced here instead of getting a cheaper foreign product? Any thoughts? | |
