I could care less what anyone does, but when joe blow down the street can't understand why I don't have brand new tractors or equipment because the people on youtube do, that is annoying. That isn't reality and the nonsense on the internet isn't helping the cause. And it seems when the veiws show up, the ball baby mode goes to 10. Look, if you want to farm, farm................If you want to go to hollywood, go to hollywood.
100% get the perception thing.. there's a channel that got started probably 10 years ago or more called "how farms work" that was great at educating younger folks about farms... but then the views got up there, and the sponsorships starting showing up, and suddenly there were new skid steers, R series Deere's and 16 row planters showing up and they were running about 200 acres or so then. Of course, they grew in acres with their popularity, but it definitely got to where the title of the channel was very misleading, because no, it was definitely not how any other 200 acre farm "works". |
