NW Iowa | I had a total reverse in December of '21. The procedure requires cutting a tendon, so I was told not to lift anything heavier than a cup of coffee with that arm for three months. I did not like the pain killers either. After a few days, I quit taking them. I faithfully did my exercises but was told no physical therapy until after the 3 months. I was 70 years old at the time, but still actively farming and doing some construction work. I graduated physical therapy fairly quickly. I have better range of motion with that arm than I've ever had. | |
