| Lake Winnipeg as others have mentioned. Find a guide with a snowbear or icehouse if you're not set up with the right gear. Winnipeg is massive, windy and typically drifted up. I've been up three times from Iowa, and plan to make many more trips. Numerous 27+" Walleyes every trip. I've gone with Blackwater Cats every time. Icebound Excursions, Bruin are a few other names to look up. I'd like to try an icehouse trip. Use icehouse as base camp and fish all over if weather allows | |
