I kind of really wonder how much that really changes your overall yield really. I mean, the extra moisture should swell the grain a little.......which would probably slightly lower your test weight. I'm sure there's a better scientific explanation. I don't see how you could really ever quantify it in the field.........but it'd be nice to take the exact same volume at different moisture levels and see how much change in total weight there really is. I do realize that dryer grain has greater harvest losses though, so there definitely is that factor. But then again.......nothing good seems to happen to any crop left in the field after it's go time.

Good luck getting yours brought in. Hopefully you have a good way to pick up down Milo. Kind of weird, because Pioneer always had a reputation for good yields but poor standability, and Dekalb the opposite. Any of it that it drought stressed pretty hard has trouble though.
