coast of Maine | Old business friend,had this old early 1900's safe,looked 1 ft thick steel plate.Weighed so much never moved,was inherited when place was small town bank.He kept copious cash in that hulk.Bragged about no one can get it.I being no fan of a safe asked"When a guy comes in and asks for the combination,you say FU.he then shoots you in the nuts,then he points the gun at your wife,,she will give him the combination." I showed him its not a safe but a draw for criminals to get you beat or killed..Safes are not safe from crime,I will never have one but I am safe from danger with immediate defense at hand. | |
