Southeast WI | That is what I was thinking and that is a "for sure" statement.
My dad would always buy 300 or so gallons for farm gas at a crack for the couple little gas tractors. That was fine when they made a lot of hay and and used it up over summer but once they cut way back all farm gas did was cause carburetor and tractor fuel tank issues. Gas gets water in it, gas goes bad and any savings is gone in a heartbeat. I remember telling him just go buy some 6 gal gas cans and buy gas from the stations when you need it. He did. Except used grandpa's old steel cans from the 50's. Another source of contamination..... CLEAN fuel and oil is important. | |
