South Central MN | "Very" user-friendly accounting for farm business don't go hand-in-hand.
If you're just looking to write invoices & checks as easy as possible, stick with quickbooks. There's other options like xero that I use and it works well.
If you're trying to get into more complicated accrual accounting, inventory/asset management, depreciation, field records, then they all get considerably more complicated.
I'm tracking most of that in xero, but it takes manual entries and a strong understanding of accounting.
I've demoed or tried most of the software listed, none of them are "very" easy if you go beyond the basics, it just isn't possible to get data that granular and keep it simple. | |
