We farmed a rented field with no tile for many years and it was the wettest farm we had. The owner would go rip up the wet spots sometimes. Welded brackets on the bottom of the ripper shanks and put on anhydrous knives To go down deeper and ripped down hill to the ditches. Ripped it down the slope. Became one of our best fields! Pulled three shanks with 200 HP! It was fairly flat.
