I agree with this. Even a few shots with a laser and some flags will tell you a lot. We eliminated a few ditches and/or shortened some that went all the way across the field that we thought drained both ways, but the laser showed the fall was only one way. These ditches were put in 70 years ago by gut feeling and eye.
