NE Alberta | I am surprised that most seem to still think Hondas are bulletproof. Our older ones were but I think Honda is selling new ones based on their previous reputation.
We have a 2016 Rubicon and had the internal shift pin break ( it takes a lot of disassembly to replace it). When it would not shift we replaced all the "common" stuff to no avail, then the dealer tried more of the same until they found the broken pin. Once they found mine, they realized there was two other machines in the shop with the same issue that they had been unable to cure. Honda (the company) denied they had a problem (would not help with the cost of repair because warranty had expired a year prior), so my next one may be a different brand. Our older Honda's had been bulletproof. | |
