Roseglen, North Dakota | I think you have to define "making more than farming" That depends on the farm.
Some make nothing yearly.
Some make 50000 per year.
Some net a million or more and pay big taxes every year.
I highly doubt Zach makes more than farming. That's insane to suggest that with millions worth of land, machinery, and farmstead
He can have every penney of it.
1. It takes a lot of time.
2. It sends the wrong image to farmers and city folks alike.
One guy I respect totally is Tony in Montana. I know him personally and he makes very little. And no boasting.
His wife says he leaves the house with 2 cameras hanging around his neck each day. He just enjoys educating people on farming.
