We just finished installing a 24” dual wall main yesterday. About 6 feet deep to the bottom. Well run laterals 40-50 feet spacing eventually to get it drained. Like you we had some drown out holes and overall thin stand from being too wet. I think getting the surface water off with a machine like you are talking will help crop loss until you can tile it but you probably won’t be getting on the ground much sooner since it does nothing to dry out the underneath. Better than nothing. If you buy one, you’ll want to start at your deepest point in your case the road ditch and then work your way up as far as you can go until it’s out of the ground. Surface water ways like these don’t need a lot of grade like maybe half a tenth to a tenth of an inch max. Anymore than that and the water will start cutting ruts from running so fast
