Mid Michigan | I have a 2001 polaris 6x6 Sportsman 500 that I bought new. I don't think it's had anything replaced on it yet. Maybe 1 spark plug. And I use it lot. Original drive belt it came from the factory. I've never had the belt or clutch cover off it. I keep it washed,greased,oil changed. Still looks great. Rides like a motocross bike and will go 55 mph.down the road. Feels like a monster truck compared to a Honda or Kawasaki. I can drive it over a very rough field very straight, smooth and comfortably. Smaller Hondas are a train wreck trying to do the same thing. They're all just aluminum, plastic and steel. Nothing magical about a Honda. They all break down eventually. | |
