West central Ohio | Low speed shaft warning will disengage header and separator after several seconds. My 9560 sts does it with discharge beater alarm. Have replaced both the magnet mount on the shaft and the pickup sensor. Still does it sometimes. Usually in the evening for some reason. Not affected by the lights. Have checked grounds. Mine doesn't act up while combining. It does it when I engage the separator and head and then throttle up. Alarm won't shut off and it will disengage. Helps to run a folded piece of paper between magnet and pickup to clean out dirt. You can adjust the pickup sensor closer to the magnet. The magnet can get recessed too far down in the plastic collar. Don't lose the small screws and nuts if you remove the pickup sensor from the stationary mount. | |
