This doesn't have anything to do directly with school board meetings, but as far as recording is concerned; we have a Facebook page for the church. Every Sunday I set my phone up on a tripod with it set to record a "Facebook live" session. When I get up to speak my wife just hits "go live" and when I'm done she hits "finish," then "done." The live video is then automatically posted to the church Facebook page. It's not complicated. Believe me, if it was complicated we couldn't do it. "It's too complicated," or "we don't have the technology" is not an excuse. My iPhone is a 12 mini so it's not the latest and greatest, but from 45 feet away with a cheap wireless mic attached to it, it works. The only drawback is that a few months ago Facebook changed their policy on how long the videos could stay up. Now they are taken down after about a month but you can download them onto any digital storage and preserve them.
