Said there is an adapter to work on S8 and older. Somewhere in last few years they eliminated some wiring and theres a kit to make it work on older machines. This head came off an 2020? S97, I'd have to look the sale back up to see what year. Hes got one of the last 9255s and said stuff was different on it than the wiring on the 9300. If it had drag rods on it, would something need changed?
Never changed anything needing an adapter for an S8 or older, but the voltage range is wider on the new heads, and can take some work to make it calibrate correctly on an older combine.
Other than that, no idea what you're talking about...probably have a dozen 9300's on older machines.
