NC IA | You will like the better cab. We from a 9670 to a late 2014 S660 with DEF and found the power was not the same, had it Ekotuned within 3 days of using it to S670 specs and its an animal now in soybeans. Been told the 2015 and later models have improvements which make them more desirable (for/aft feederhouse tilt, 4 chain feederhouse vs 3 chain in the 2012-2014 models, probably other small updates).
The chaffer frames do crack - mine were cracking at 1300 hours, the updated version was installed afterwards and is supposed to be redesigned to last longer.
The basic machine is the same as the 9670, not much looks different mechanically - but its updated with newer electronics - the cab is bigger and more glass. | |
