Depends on how you plan to use it. Lithium is great for campers that like to run their batteries down, and usually use them in the summer. Lead is more tolerant of cold weather use and charging, but likes to be fully recharged right away. If the truck will be parked in the cold but plugged in, lead will work good. If you'll be on the road not plugged in at night, but never work below freezing, then Li has advantages. Then some are heated, and in an insulated compartment (because they don't need ventilation for acid fumes like lead), they'd work fine. Depending on how much you run the engine, vs how long it will be plugged in will determine what you want to do for charging. Could be NO engine charging, all the way to a 48V alternator, or AC generator on the engine powering and inverter charger that would put 2-4kw back into the battery.
