MN | I would remind them of the 35 year relationship with their parents and have the figure available of the total rent amount that was paid over those 35 years- and you honor all your contracts and obligations- if they don't want to you to rent it next year they are breaking the contract- the fee to break the contract is the same amount as the rent would be- if you are interested in purchasing it at the auction- it might not be a bad idea to have someone bid on your behalf in case there might be some bad blood- friend of mine did that a couple of years ago- had a neighbor that would always bid against him at land auctions- so he had someone else bid for him- that no one knew. Low and behold the neighbor never bid- and the neighbor was upset when he found out who bought it- | |
