Thanks for this insight. I should add, I currently work a full time job, and will continue to do so. The potential landlord has known me all my life, and seemed intrigued when I called to throw my name in the hat. I also have some friendships with other farmers that I know would help me out if I found myself in need, which I know I will.
If any of these other farmers are successful, copy what they are doing and tweak things based on your interests and skills. Sam Walton copied K-Mart and improved on their business plan. The rest is history. |
