I think this type of jamb is what I put in mom's garage, it is the last one I have bought, I expect it to last real well. I had steel bent and wrapped my shop right away when it was new, wrapped the entrance door on the basement after 20 ish years, both are holding up well. for our garage 20 years ago I paid extra for PVC wrapped wood it rotted up from the bottom behind the PVC which then cracked, believe it ahd some sort of warranty, but never got around to filling out a claim, do not believe they are availble any longer, no loss there. | |
