| Battery is a big concern with the T100, all dealer testing I've seen and watched, they are operating them with no ferrying time and at 30mph the drone still can't spray the full tank at 2gpa on flat ground. It can get maybe 22gal out, but that's still with no ferrying time. It can at full speed but your height gets locked to 16.5ft+. Any amount of ferrying time and the battery tanks and starts getting hot. Maybe higher GPA applications it'd be worth it, but for the operators buying these for 2gpa work are gonna be extremely disappointed.
Not to mention you either need to get the 3 phase 14kw charger or 2 12kw chargers just to keep up with a single drone. So for a lot of guys it's more than just buying the base drone kit, you gotta add on another 6-7k for the chargers/extra battery and whatever the cost of the generator is.
The battery capacity of the Ceres is in the ball park of 38ah x2, they are still finalizing specs but that's roughly where they are at currently. I also think they are leaning towards 3 phase chargers as well. I'm super excited for this drone, I hope to be able to get my hands on one as well.
Just some napkin math, it has a max efficient swath of around 40feet, but I'd probably start at 30ft for swath testing. At 2gpa on an open quarter at 30ft swath, it takes ~7.3gal per full round. So if the battery holds up, it'd take 36.4gal to make 5 full rounds. That'd be insane! I can currently make 2 full rounds with the HD580, so a single drone over doubling the amount sprayed on a single flight is so crazy to me. Even 4 full rounds and spraying 29.1gal is a big increase. Alternatively, I could up my rates to 2.5-3gpa and still do 3-4 full rounds.
