Bones, there were a lot of my friends Dads that worked there too from Riceville, most were also small farmers, that would carpool. Did you know any of the Lubberts, Roy, Jerry or Denny? Father and his two sons. Jerry and Marie lived in Charles City, and he was killed in a snowmobile head on collision on a bend in the cedar river, early 80’s. He was my best friends oldest brother, and just the best guy, I still miss today. Anyway, thanks for that, I really enjoyed reading it. Brings back a lot of memories.
