coast of Maine | Keedave,I will get you a couple contacts.I know trap #'s are limited to prevent over fishing.Have friends that take large ice shacks up to sleep in to prevent renting but thats rough as no showers etc.It is 3 hours ish in from pavement,leave Millinocket and head NW on what once was callled the Golden Road.Private,log trucks have the ROW. But there are other areas accessed up by Ashland,I think that one is Ross Lake Camp,Chemabastaubatick(sp) lake.As deep as it gets from civilization on the east coast.I gave up ice fishing and sledding as I now prefer the swamps of Georgia in winter,,ehhehhe | |
