I’ve asked myself a similar question before. I could call myself 4th generation or 1st to farm in the US. My great grandfather farmed, my grandfather and 3 of my uncles on my mom’s side farm. Matter of fact I farm with my mom’s youngest brother. My dad died 4 days after my first birthday so I hung out with my grandfather and uncles a fair amount.
What generation am I?
