Mid-Missouri | That tow rope looks identical to the kind we buy every year from John Day at the Western Farm Show. Yours appears slightly bigger and much more expensive from Gemplers. The "D rings" add to the cost for sure. I would get one end with d ring, and the other with loop. That d ring will not fit onto many tow hooks going through bumpers etc. It is made in the states with free repair or replacement if it frays/breaks. I would look up John Day. I will look at the tag on ours and report back the info. I think that rope rates it by adding the weight of the stuck vehicle plus the tow vehicle, and it should not exceep the rated number. | |
