Post exactly like this were made multiple times last fall. Predicting 2012 growing seasons based on fall weather doesn’t work.

Doesn’t stop the USDA from putting out some pie in the sky national average corn and bean yield numbers 3 months before a seed goes in the ground. Predicting yields based on past years production doesn’t work either.
