A lot of these people on SNAP are employed and work for large companies that do well on the stock market but can’t seem to find the funds to pay a living wage. Bernie Sanders is absolutely bananas but he’s correct on this one.
You got that right..The crooks at Wall Street demand record profits to send stock prices to the moon..The CEO's at lots of big companies are glad to gouge their customers with high prices and cheat their employee's by paying wages that are not close to keeping up with inflation...The CEO's benefit as some or lots of their compensation is in stock options....Greed is totally out of control.
Right now the top 10% are doing 49.2% of all consumer spending..The crap is getting ready to hit the fan.
