With a windrow that is chamber width, you should be able so set inner and outer densities to 1100-1200 PSI and get along nicely in cornstalks, provided you use 3.25 turns of quality net. As soon as your windrow gets too narrow, you will need to drop of the density pretty radically.

I set my balers to 70" also, and double check with a tape measure (average of vertical and horizontal freshly baled bale end dimension) that final size is not over 72", prefer to see a tick or two over 71".
