There is probably 2.5 million cattle within a 100 mile radius of me and lots of vets dealing with them. The vets we use deal mainly in cattle and the 8 way vaccines cover the diseases listed above. I haven't had the water tested but it comes from the same sources as everyone else's around here. I can't say that we do anything really different from the neighbors around us other than our cattle spend more time out foraging in the fields instead of being fed in a pen. Maybe it's E.coli like the one vet said or just bad luck. Just for reference our cow herd is usually around 230 head and the total death loss is under 2% on them. It's just that it's mainly due to bloat, maybe have 1 a year from other causes.
