Pittsburg, Kansas | Good ride in the Hualapai's today. The sun in the eyes coming back out and the dust is kind of murder the last 30 minutes but a good ride. No blood or injuries and no turnovers. We went down towards Gold King mansion and mine but did not go to the mine. Buster50 was leading the three vehicles and took us down a new to me trail and boy was it a new trail. Rode over a lot of bushes and some wash outs were definitely pucker up material. But we made it. The skid plate on our RZR's ought to be scoured clean. I would guess by the trail we were the only ones to venture down it for a long time. At some prior time it had been maintained because you could see branches trimmed. But it has definitely been a while back because the bushes we ran over were three feet high.
No injuries and none left behind so all is good. We did see a bunch of glass at the bottom of a ravine where one of the bad wash outs were so somebody at some time probably had a bad day. The third couple with us were in a brand new RZR XP1000, only second ride in it. Got it broke in for sure with a brand new Arizona pinstripe job.
We are on chapter 6 out of 20 chapters. It seems ok. I question all the things he cured himself of but from my perspective I am more interested in that higher doses will not hurt us. He gives some research, both animal and human, with rediculous doses with no harm. So that is one thing I was interested in. First do no harm.
We have been taking 5000 iu's for quite a few years now although just last year we backed off taking it when we were getting lots of sum. Didn't figure we needed it. A couple years ago we both were at 75 level on our D3 25 hydroxy test and this year only about 65. I would like to be up around 75-100. I think we may try taking 20k units for a while just to see if we can tell any difference. An N of 2 experiment. Will definitely take K2 along with it, as we have always done.
