The Hereford calf the boys bottle fed this spring isnt growing.
We had them separated till weened off the bottle this summer.
They been on pasture since july something.
The others are steers and heifers. The Hereford is a bull still as the BIL liked the look of him and has some Hereford cows so thought we’ll see how he looks come spring
.
My oldest feeds them ground popcorn/oats/pellets 3 bucketd a day for 8 head. Calves have grass, city water, hay as well. My son is gone to FFA convention this week and I have been feeding the calves.
The Hereford just isnt growing? Any ideas?
Line breeding if it works or inbreeding if it doesn’t
