I don't think you can paint all the mega dealers in the US with the same brush. I've watched our local dealer grow from 1 store to 13 in 25 years and today it is regarded as 1 of the top dealers in the state with parts, service, and sales. And the personal are top.shelf.
You can keep gooseneck, give me back Haugen's and Sunrise. They actually had parts and equipment in stock and the lot. Not just Deere either, half a dozen shortlines that are still common here.
Whenever Gooseneck goes anywhere step one is remodel the parts room into a show room step two is to throw away all the parts and step three is say "we can order it". |
