coast of Maine | Yeah,we replaced the outer planetary bearings and shims back in the spring.I was wrong to assume no material left in housing,so we assume a small bunch of steel ended up grinding in the bearings,leading to wear,which with slack caused a popping noise going down hill on highway.So when we got the duals off and bith sets of palnetaries out,,spun the hub it sort of felt like a slight rumble.Actually other than damn heavy parts an easy pull apart,not like any other I have taken apart but slick .RABA axle. | |
