what kind of numbers are you talking?, if i remember right we used to do about 30 ac/hr with 40ft. concord, and our 85c would burn about 17 gal/hr,, when pulling hard, (not a 40' concord)
those tractors liked to drink, but 1 gal/acre is terrible, our 65B is be about or under .5 gal/acre.
