| I bought a 560M with the pre cutter this spring. I have been using half the knives and the bales mix in my twin screw vertical mixer nicely. Much better than uncut bales. Previously I had ground hay to mix faster. Now I won't have to mess with that. I just unwrap a bale and can easily break it up and grab what I want with a grapple. The few times I plugged it I just dropped the floor and it fed right in. You can run with the knives engaged or not using the monitor and install half or all the knives to vary your cut length. I feeds just as fast a a standard baler but does use more fuel. | |
