Bloat can be a concern on clover, worse right after a frost. Usually as long as it isn't super young and tender and they're kept full it isn't an issue. Some decent dry hay available free choice is a good idea. Just don't lock them off of it to "make sure they eat enough hay" first.

I've run sheep on clover after wheat for a while now. Temporary fence with a couple days feed at a time. Fed them from August until January last year.
