Nebraska | Trump talks too much. He also is getting a bit too much credit for influencing the market. $300/hd off from 10 days ago is still probably the highest priced calves they’ve ever sold. It’d be similar to the price they would have been if sold on video sales this summer. It’s not the end of the world, and I think it’s a correction that was needed and look for the cash to make the futures bounce back up again. I might be wrong but it looks like the barns are still ignoring Chicago even if the frenzy has subdued. | |
