We aren't in an area that generally benefits from turning the ground black before planting, but deep tillage (in-line ripper) has not shown a positive yield response for either corn or beans for us. When figuring the cost of running the deep tillage, it has been a big loser for us.
Does corn or beans benifit more from deep tillage?
