Make sure you have the pan in the rear gate to prevent scuffing the net wrap and stop immediately when the bale is full. We ran a compressor rack with every other rod pulled.
Edit to say: we added hydraulic lift to the pick up to ours and frequently could clear it out just by lifting the pickup. I think there are two different lengths of pickup teeth available too. from a 20 year old memory you can put in green ones that are an inch or so longer.
